Top mobile phone vendor in Q4 2007: Nokia, Samsung, Motorola
The worldwide mobile phone market grew to 300 mln devices in Q4 2007. According to IDC, the 334.0 mln handsets shipped during the holiday quarter was a new record for the industry, and was up 15.3% over Q4 2007. Total shipments reached 1,144.1 mln units in 2007 with 12.4% overall growth.
