LCD sales grew 74% in 2007

Not only did LCDs lead all the major categories in revenue growth, with a 74% increase in dollar sales over 2006 and an 83% increase in units, but they also accounted for 60% of total TV sales. Despite the enormous revenue gain for LCDs, overall TV unit volume declined 9%, according to NPD Group.
