Australian pen-based PDA market fell 26% in Q1 2005, while shipments of smart PDAs increased by 7%, IDC Australia says. E-mail was the biggest driver for smart PDA, although IDC analyst says they see CRM and sales force automation systems coming to the handheld market as well.
