67.3 mln PCs shipped globally in Q4 2006

According to Gartner, worldwide PC unit shipments in Q4 2006 grew 7.4% compared to Q4 2005. 67.3 mln units were shipped. In Q4 2006, Hewlett-Packard’s worldwide PC shipments increased 23.9%, as its market share totaled 17.4%. Dell remained in #2 position in the quarter, but its shipments decreased 8.7%, resulting in its market share total of 13.9%.
