34% of LCD TV and plasma TV buyers bought some additional services on the same visit

Less than half of LCD, plasma and projection TV consumers purchased additional items at the time they invested in their TVs. Services, such as extended warranties, installation and delivery, were the most prominent add-ons, with 34% of LCD/plasma consumers and 44% of projection TV consumers making these additional purchases, NPD Group says.
