$129 bln worth of consumer electronics sold in the US in 2007

Consumer technology sales reached a record $129 bln in 2007, a healthy 6.5% increase over 2006, according to The NPD Group. However, sales growth for the second half of 2007, which accounted for 54% of the year’s revenue, only grew by 5%.
